Recently, Maersk’s official website announced that in order to continue to provide you with our global services, Maersk will increase the peak season surcharge (PSS) from China and Hong Kong, China to Kenya from October 1, 2024. Taiwan, China will take effect on October 5, 2024.
The specific notice and charging standards are as follows:
From China and Hong Kong to Kenya, it will take effect on October 1, 2024; from Taiwan to Kenya, it will take effect on October 5, 2024.
A fee of USD 300 per box is charged for 20-foot dry containers and 20-foot refrigerated containers; a fee of USD 500 per box is charged for 40-foot dry containers, 40-foot refrigerated containers and 45-foot high containers.
